1. PAPER PRESENTATION
1. Team members may be 2 or 3 members
2. Paper should be in IEEE Format.
3. Presentation should not exceed 10 minutes including queries.
4. Two hard copies and one soft copy on CD.
5. A4 size 7 pages maximum (Font: Times new roman, Size:12)
6. All participants should register through mail.
7. Judge's decision would be final.

2.SHORT
FILM
THEME: HUMANITY
Rules
and Regulations
Guidelines:
· The participant must be a college student.
· Theme: HUMANITY .
· The maximum duration for the short film must be 10
minutes.
· The short film must be original and no watermark of any kind should be
on the film.
· The film must be of highest quality possible.
· Adult content of any kind will not be entertained and would lead to
direct disqualification.
· Due credits must be given to the cast and the crew in the film though
the final prize would go to the director(s)
· Films in Language other than Tamil should carry subtitles in English.
Details
of submission:
· The film can be submitted in a CD/DVD format which should be sent to the
college address on or attached as a google drive link to the following
emailid(viyugam2k23@gmail.com)before march 25 th 2023
Judging Parameters
· Films will be judged entirely on the concept, technical aspects etc.
Films will not be uploaded on Facebook/Youtube to get ‘likes’.
· In case of any issues the Judges’ decision is final.
Screening & Awards
· Best films will be shortlisted and will be screened on
march 31,2023the judging committee
· Cash prizes along with certificates will be awarded for overall
excellence to the director(s)/producer(s) of three short films chosen by
judges.
In case of any controversy on a matter not mentioned in the above regulations,
the Organizers will decide on appropriate action. The Organizers' word shall be
final and binding.

3.PHOTOGRAPHY
* The photo should be captured only by the participant strictly.
* Theme : Spot topic will be given .
*Only one entry is allowed per photographer.
· The photograph must be original and no watermark of any kind and not
from any other e resource or from internet.
· The photograph must be of highest resolution possible.
· It can be in Landscape/Portrait mode.
· Photographs that have been digitally altered beyond standard
optimization (removal of dust, cropping, reasonable adjustments to exposure,
color and contrast, etc.) will be disqualified.
· Adult content of any kind will not be entertained and would lead to
direct disqualification.
· A caption must be given for the photograph.
4.ADZAP (MBA)
Rules
1.
4-5 members per team
2. Product
(imaginary) will be given to the participants before 15 minutes
3. Team
are to present an advertisement for given product
4. Creativeness
and rationality in advertising the product will be consider for judgement
5. Rest
of the rules will be explained on the spot
6. Participants
must be ready for the query session for your performance
7. Time
limit approximately 3 minutes
5. BEST MANAGER - (MBA)
(No of participant only ::1 per college)
The best manager will be carried 3 different rounds
1. Business quiz:
3-4 rounds (rule will be explained on the spot)
2. Case analysis: participants
will be given a time of 20 min to go through the case and presentation time
will be 5 min per individual
3. Panel interview (rapid
fire round): to check the ability of the participants
Judgment
criteria each round would have individual marking criteria. Final result would
be consolidated
1.Time duration, for the event of fruit carving Time:30 minutes
2.Number of participants per team will be maximum 2 members.
3.Date of competition is 31.03.2023.
4.Carving fruits and all other related supplies / materials will not be provided.
5.Added colors are not acceptable.
6.Only participant will complete the entire carving process.
7.Participants must use any fruit item that is available for carving, one or more fruits can be used in combination.
8.No pre preparation of fruit before the competition is allowed.
9.No mark or drawings should be visible on the fruits.
10.Judging will evaluate and score each entrant on their technical skills, based on the following criteria: Innovative (10) uniqueness (10) Arrangements (10)

7.JUST A MINUTE (S&H)
1. 1.The contestant would speak on a given subject for a full sixty seconds, “without hesitation,
deviation or repetition”.
2. 2. Each participant will be a given a topic on the spot, with no preparation time and the
speaking time will be of 1 minute.
3. 3.Topics
would be picked by the participant from a bowl of chits.
4. 4.No
hesitation and deviation is allowed while the performance is on
5. 5.Participant
have to use only English words
6. 6.The
participants will be judged on Spontaneity, Method, Content and Fluency.
8.RC CAR RACING (MECH)

9.MR. MACHINIST (MECH)
1.Time Duration for Machining Operation -10 Minutes
2.Participants Do Not Break the Work Tool
3.Finishing Accuracy Should Be Very Precise

10.TECHNICAL CONNECTIONS (CSE/IT )
1.There may be 2 members
per team from same institution
2. There
will be three rounds during the competition
3.Don’t
interact with any others teams during the competition
4. The duration of the event will be 45
mins.
5.The judge’s decision will be final -no
more arguments will be allowed.
11. TECHNICAL QUIZ (CSE/IT)

RULES:

set of question papers containing 25 objective type questions
² Time limit - 45 minutes
² Only eligible members would be
selected for NEXT ROUNDS

² 10 marks for the correct
answer and negative 5 marks for the wrong or no answer
ROUND 2: RAPID FIRE

In This Round Each Person Will Be Asked
10 Questions One After Another.

On The Immediate Completion Of a
Question, Each Person Gets 5 Seconds To Answer .

10 Points Is Awarded For The Correct
Answer.
² If a member Is
Not Able To Answer a Question, They Can Pass It For The Next Question.
12. CODE DEBUGGING ( CSE/IT)
· Each participant will be given 20 questions with errors to test the basic Programming skills.
· Don’t open any browser or new tab during the test then the participant will be disqualified.
13.FIRELESS COOKING (CSE/IT)
· Contestants must register their
team previously
· Maximum of 3 members per team
· Participant should not bring
any pre-cooked items
· Participants are supposed to display a chart having
the name of dish & its ingredients
· All required materials, tools and equipment’ should
be brought by them.
· All the participants must leave
their working area clean after completion of their dish
· Evaluation is based on the taste, hygiene and
presentation, unique name of the dish
· There shall be minimum 2 and maximum and 3 varieties of dishes
· The decision of the judges will
be final
· Time limit: 60 minutes
14.ART FROM SCRAP (CSE /IT)
· Team shall consist of two members only.
·
Participants will be given 1 hour
to show their creativity and 2 minutes to talk about the same.
·
The required waste material and
stationery like scissor, thread, etc. should be brought by the participants.
·
Waste material could be
anything like tetra packs, bottles, newspapers, old utensils, jute material or
any second-hand items that otherwise would be thrown away.
·
The material would be rejected
if not found to be a waste product or second-hand item.
·
No ready or semi-finished model
or matter would be accepted from participant in competition.
·
Participants will be judged on
Creativity, Utilization of Resources, Artistic composition & design,
Eco-friendly rating, Utility of the Product and Overall Presentation
·
No mobile or Internet means
would be allowed to use at the time of Competition.
·
The decision of the judges will
be considered final and abiding.
